🧑‍💼 1. General Terms

• Menorca Beach Stays acts as a secure booking platform connecting guests and hosts.
• All bookings, payments, communication, and payouts must occur inside the platform to ensure safety and coverage.
• We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with notice posted on this page.

🏖️ 2. Guest Terms

🛎️ 2.1 Booking Rules

• Guests must provide accurate information when booking.
• A booking is confirmed only after successful payment.
• All communication with hosts must remain on the platform.

💳 2.2 Payments

• Payments are processed securely and stored in the guest’s Menorca Beach Stays Wallet.
• Prices shown include platform fees, taxes (if applicable), and service costs.

🔄 2.3 Cancellations & Refunds

• Refund eligibility follows our Guest Refund Policy (next page).
• Refunds are returned to the guest’s wallet, not to external accounts.

🏠 2.4 Guest Responsibilities

• Respect the host’s house rules.
• Follow check-in and check-out instructions.
• Report any issues immediately through the in-app support system.

🏡 3. Host Terms

📝 3.1 Listings

• Hosts must provide accurate and truthful property details.
• Photos, pricing, amenities, and availability must remain up to date.
• Fake, misleading, or duplicate listings may be removed.

💰 3.2 Earnings & Withdrawals

• Hosts earn 95% of every booking; Menorca Beach Stays retains 5% platform fee.
• Earnings appear in the host’s Wallet Dashboard once the guest completes check-in.
• Withdrawals can be requested anytime once the minimum threshold is reached (specified in the wallet section).
• Payouts are processed via the banking method the host provides.

🔐 3.3 Host Responsibilities

• Provide the property as described.
• Ensure the accommodation is safe, clean, and ready before guest arrival.
• Respond promptly to guests (recommended within 24 hours).
• Follow local laws, licensing rules, and tax obligations.

⚖️ 4. Platform Fee (5%)

• A 5% service fee is deducted automatically from every successful booking.
• This covers secure payments, customer support, platform maintenance, and fraud protection.

🛡️ 5. Prohibited Actions

Users (hosts and guests) agree not to:

• Circumvent the platform by booking outside the site
• Post misleading information or unauthorized listings
• Engage in harassment, fraud, or misuse of the platform

Violations may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

📂 6. Data & Privacy

• Personal data is used only to operate and improve the platform.
• We never sell user information to third parties.

⚠️ 7. Liability

• Menorca Beach Stays is not responsible for:
  • Damages caused by guests or hosts
  • Local power cuts, weather disruptions, or maintenance issues
  • Loss of personal items
• We provide tools, support, and secure payment processing — but the host remains responsible for the property.
